Postodctoral Research Scientists

2024-10-05: We are currently seeking a postdoctoral scientist who will work on a project to integrate tree improvement into growth and yield models in the western Boreal and Rocky Mountain Region. This opportunity in the G&Y Lab is part of a large cooperative project led by UofA's Tree Improvement Lab. The project, called "BFF-AFIRMS" (Best Future Forests - Alberta Forest Information and Genetic Resource Management Support System) seeks to transform tree improvement in Alberta through the development of a high-throughput genotyping platform and the development and implementation of a decision support system. The incorporation of G&Y models will form an essential part of this system. For more information, see this announcement. The position will remain open until filled.
